Founded in 2000 by Melbourne director David Cairns, Marley’s Ghost Productions started as a group of friends with a love of film and nothing much better to do with their time. Since then, Marley’s Ghost has grown into a passionate and innovative independent film house. We believe that media and the arts is one of the most effective ways to impact society, offer social comment and inspire personal growth.

With five featurettes and over a dozen short films already produced, Marley’s Ghost is committed to telling interesting, challenging stories and developing people in all areas of cinematic arts.

As well as continuing to develop our film program, Marley’s Ghost also hopes to expand into theatre production, photography and other forms of visual arts.
